Here’s How You Can Assign Workers in Fallout 4

With the recently released Fallout series and next-generation update, Fallout 4 (FO4) has managed to gain an active player base again. Bethesda’s RPG title dominates Steam charts and has even overtaken Helldivers 2! The game features a wide range of mechanics, and one of them involves the workers or settlers on your base. If you’re new to the game, you might get confused about how you can assign workers in the game. But fear not; we’ve got you covered! Let’s take a look at how you can assign workers in Fallout 4 and carry out your base operations. 

How Can You Assign Workers in Fallout 4?

Once you’ve managed to set up your base and have it completely operational in the game, you might be wondering how you can use your workers. This might be confusing initially since FO4 doesn’t tell you how to do it. To assign workers in the game, here’s what you need to do - 

1. Head to your settlement and open the Workshop menu. The prompt for this can be seen at the top left section of the screen.

2. Walk up to any worker you’d like to give a task to. When you’re next to them, press the Command button (PC= Enter, Xbox = A, and PlayStation = X).

3. After you’ve selected the worker, go to the task you want to give them. This can include things such as scavenging stations or crops. After you approach it, press the Command button again.

Now, you’ll get a prompt confirming that the task has been assigned to your worker. If you have multiple people in your base, you can use this trick on all of them to finish multiple projects easily.

What Can Your Workers Do In Fallout 4?

In Fallout 4, you can give a range of tasks to your workers/settlers, allowing you to take a break and spend some time relaxing. To progress your settlement, here’s what workers can do for you -
