Sega’s Football Manager 2024 has been available as an early access title for Windows and macOS users since 19th October and fans have already started adding mods to enhance their gameplay experience. Although the game comes with numerous improvements in terms of its game modes and visuals, adding skin packs for player faces and logos of clubs always adds another layer of immersion to these titles. Here’s how you can do so for the latest title in the series.
Adding Face Packs to Football Manager 2024
Although FM 24 covers numerous leagues and clubs, there are still a few unlicensed leagues present in the game. As a result, numerous players rely on using face packs to bypass the silhouette that replaces the player’s face. Do note that you need to have software (such as Winrar) that can unarchive or unzip compressed files. Here are the simple methods you can use to download and install such face packs:
Head to the website of your choice and select the face pack you want to download. You can check out Sortitoutsi’s mega face pack which adds over 400,000 faces of players, coaches, and managers.
Once it is downloaded, extract the rar / zip file using Winrar or any other equivalent software.
Once the extraction is done, you need to move the extracted files to your Football Manager 2024 Graphics folder.
For Windows, the path is C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics
For macOS, move to Macintosh HD\users\USERNAME\Documents\PUBLIC\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics OR Macintosh HD\users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics
If you cannot find the folder, simply create a new one by right-clicking on the file location, creating a new folder, and renaming it to “graphics”
Launch Football Manager 2024 and navigate to Preferences. Click on Clear Cache / Reload Skin.
If there is no “Reload Skin” option, head to Preferences > Advanced > Interface and click on the drop-down box.
Check on the box that says reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences
Do note that you will need to sign up for an account if you decide to use the “Sortitoutsi” website. You will also have to pay a small premium for a direct download if you do not wish to use the files via torrent.
Adding Logos to Football Manager 2024
Adding a logo pack to FM 24 requires you to follow similar steps you used while adding the face pack. You will need Winrar or any other equivalent to extract compressed files. Here’s what you have to do:
Download your desired logo pack from a website of your choice. You can check out TMC 23’s pack as it provides you with over 68,000 logos and badges.
Extract the rar / zip file using Winrar or any other equivalent software
Once it is extracted, move the files to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics if you are a Windows user.
For macOS move the folder to Macintosh HD\users\USERNAME\Documents\PUBLIC\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics OR Macintosh HD\users\USERNAME\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics
That is pretty much how you can download and install face and logo packs for Football Manager 2024. Keep in mind that by choosing to install mods for the game, you do so at your own risk.
