While this has certainly captivated both new and returning players, things don’t seem to stop there, as rumors suggest that a Fortnite X Persona collaboration is currently in the works and might be uncovered sometime before the Myths and Mortals season ends. Rumors Suggest That Fortnite X Persona Collaboration Is Currently in Development
This information was obtained from content creator and reliable leaker iFireMonkey, who reliably reported numerous Fortnite leaks in the past. The Persona collaboration was mentioned in a list of all items and features that might be implemented in Chapter 5 Season 2 of the game.
This was posted two days before the launch of the Myths and Mortals season on 8th March and so far, most of the expected features have been pretty accurate.
Additionally, data miner and leaker Midori who accurately predicted details of the last two Persona games mentioned that Sega and Epic Games have been in talks for quite some time now, with numerous meetings held in both 2022 and 2023. While the meetings were regarding a Persona 5 Royal collab, new details suggest that Persona 3 Reload might be the choice for Epic Games.
For those unaware, Persona 3 Reload features several themes of Greek mythology, mainly the Tartarus. While it is metaphorically represented in the game, Tartarus is considered to be the deepest part of the underworld where titans and mortals are sent for eternal exile. This might very well fit the current theme of Fortnite, which has Greek Gods such as Zeus and Hades, along with locations such as Mount Olympus, Grim Gate, and The Underworld on its map.
Although these rumors seem plausible, you need to know that there has been no official information from both Sega and Epic Games regarding this crossover. However, many are expecting the Fortnite X Persona collab to be a mid-season event that will showcase cosmetics such as posters, weapons, outfits, back blings, etc. Whether these speculations hold true or not remains to be seen, with confirmation likely to emerge by the end of this season, which is scheduled for 24th May.
