Does Lords of the Fallen Come with New Game Plus?
Highlights
With the release just couple of weeks away, Lords of the Fallen developers have confirmed New Game Plus is coming to the game.
New Game Plus will significantly shake up how you play Lords of the Fallen. Here's everything you need to know.

There's no doubt that Lords of the Fallen is one of the most promising Soulslike titles in recent times; the game not only promises to bring Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5 kicking and screaming into the genre but also satisfies veterans and brings newcomers into the Soulslike fold.

Lords of the Fallen is all set to release on 13th October 2023 and stands out from other Soulslike games, offering a unique, visually engaging style. However, players are wondering if New Game Plus is coming to Lords of the Fallen. Here's everything you need to know.

Lords of the Fallen: What is New Game Plus?

New Game Plus, also known as NG+, is a growing trend in the gaming industry that benefits those who want to replay their favorite games.

It’s not something you’ll find in every game out there, but more and more developers are integrating it into their games. Players who are looking to replay a title can get a unique experience with New Game Plus.

The feature is unlocked after you’ve completed a game’s campaign once, allowing you to start the main story from the beginning with an additional layer of difficulty. You’ll be able to retain some elements from your previous playthrough, which usually includes unique and powerful items, armor, and weapons.

Lords Of the Fallen: Is New Game Plus Coming to The Game?

Good news! It’s confirmed that a New Game Plus is coming, Lords of the Fallen. While not everything has been confirmed, HexWorks’ studio boss Saul Gascon and Creative Director Cezar Virtosu have shared what players can expect from the feature.

After completing the story of Lords of the Fallen, you’ll be able to dive back into the story with more challenging obstacles in your path. Enemies will be tougher to take down, and you have to deal more damage than before.

In your first Lords of the Fallen playthrough, you will come across a number of permanent Ancient Vestiges, which you can use to save your game and recharge your batteries. You won’t be able to find these in New Game Plus, and Vestige Seedlings will replace them. These seedlings will work like a temporary camp and must be removed if you want to relocate them.

This will increase the difficulty in your current playthrough as you will be punished for dying by being directed back to your last seedling position.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have full details of the Lords of The Fallen New Game Plus, but we can expect more information from the developers as we get closer to the launch date. Be sure to follow us as we’ll keep you posted on the latest Lords of the Fallen news and guides.
