How Often Do Tarkov Wipes Occur?

In Escape From Tarkov, Battlestate Games does have a set schedule for when a fresh wipe will occur. Having said that, every six months, Escape From Tarkov usually releases a new server wipe.

A "wipe" typically occurs in tandem with the Battlestate releasing some major updates for Escape From Tarkov, and players will see that all of their progress has been reset to zero after the wipe. That implies that all accounts have been reset for the entire game, including character progression, quests, stash, hideout, and more. Essentially Battlestate Games will reset everyone’s progress to avoid added coding work which might come about from releasing their major updates.

This allows new players an opportunity to catch up to others in the game without having to compete against already leveled and inventory-heavy player who have the weapons and equipment to dominate every run.
