Best Skills and Skill Upgrades That You Need to Own in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage was developed by Ubisoft as an attempt to take the franchise back to its glory days. This means that this game does not contain the same RPG-like elements and takes veteran players back to the days of the first AC titles especially the Ezio trilogy, featuring several mechanics from these earlier games. This title has a main emphasis on stealth, parkour, and close-range combat and this aspect of it is reflected in the skill trees provided to the player.
Let’s go ahead and figure out which skills are worth spending your hard-earned skill points.
Best Skills in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Unlike the previous titles in the franchise, Mirage’s skill tree has a main focus on stealth, utility usage, and close-range assassinations and combat. Unlike the previous games, players cannot farm skill points by simply leveling up and increasing XP. In this game, skill points are earned as you progress through the main storyline, so it is highly unlikely that you will have an abundance of them.
Skills points in this game are divided into three categories; Phantom, Trickster, and Predator. Here are some of the best skills you need to acquire in each category:
Phantom Skills
This set of skills allows you to quickly make your way out of combat scenarios by performing silent yet fast assassinations. Your first priority should be unlocking Breakfall, which makes Basim automatically perform a roll while falling from great heights, which reduces the amount of damage taken from the fall. Unlocking this skill requires two skill points.
You can also spend your points on Chain Assassination which assassinates a second enemy after the first successful kill. It will either kill another nearby enemy or throw a knife at a distant target. You will need three skill points to unlock this.
Trickster Skills
This skill tree allows you to maximize your use of tools and also upgrades the quality of your combat items. You will unlock Auto-collect as a starting skill which allows Basim to automatically loot items after a stealth kill. You can also unlock an Elixir Pocket which is the only skill in the game to grant you an elixir charge.
Furthermore, you can also unlock Knife Recovery which allows you to pick up throwing knives after being used to kill enemies, allowing you to use the knife again. This will help you minimize the use of resources needed to craft them. Unlocking this requires three skill points.
Predator Skills
The main focus of this skill tree is to maximize your awareness of hostile surroundings around you. Initially, players can unlock the Pathfinder skill which allows Enkidu, your eagle companion, to reveal opportunities and items like Chests, Keys, and secret passageways across Baghdad. This will cost you one skill point.
Later on, you can also get access to Emergency Aim which will snap onto an enemy and present you with the opportunity to kill them, so that you will not be discovered. It will cost you three skill points.
Those are pretty much the best skill points you can unlock on your playthrough of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Do note that you can also earn skill points by collecting Lost Books and returning them to the House of Wisdom.
