Arrowhead's Helldivers 2 continues to release brand-new content that keeps us locked on our democratic duty of destroying stuff. We have had tons of new equipment to try out, as have the enemies. However, Arrowhead isn't just done yet. The studio constantly reveals upcoming content on its social media, and today, it's done it again. The developers have confirmed the codes of what looks to be the next set of Stratagems. Let's take a look at everything we know.
Helldivers 2 Team Teases New Stratagems With a Meme
In a post on X, the official Helldivers 2 account has teased two new potential Stratagem codes with a meme. The directions represent Stratagems.
Arrowhead hasn't revealed anything about what these Stratagems might be. One of the X users in the comments explained that Stratagems that begin with Down, Up are often backpacks. If we take a look at the currently available backpacks in the game, many of them begin with "Down, Up. "There's a high probability that these Stratagem will actually be backpacks. However, if we look at the second code, it's much shorter, which could mean that it might be a Defensive Stratagem.
Keep in mind that the "or" in the X post can also mean that fans might be able to vote between what Stratagem makes it to the game. However, that's just speculation, but it perfectly fits with Arrowhead's approach to the game.
Helldivers 2 Might Be Coming to Xbox
There's no doubt that Helldivers 2 has proven to be a massive hit, and that's despite being limited to play on the PS5 and PC. As with all the exclusive titles lately, many players have been wondering if Helldivers 2 would make its way to Xbox or not. However, it seems like it will be happening soon. Recent insider rumors suggest that Sony is in early discussions with Xbox to bring the Arrowhead title to Xbox Series S/X. We've seen Microsoft showing an increased willingness to release first-party Xbox games to PS5, so it wouldn't be surprising if a hit PlayStation title comes to Xbox. However, at the end of the day, this is just a rumor and speculation, nothing has been officially stated by Sony.
