NBA 2K24 offers numerous contact dunk animations depending on your footwork and player type.
Although contact dunk animations are pretty niche, they offer some of the most satisfying gameplay moments in NBA 2K .

NBA 2K24 offers players a variety of features such as crossplay, and ProPLAY, along with fan-favorite game modes such as MyNBA, MyCAREER, and so on. The game also adds a variety of new animations to accurately represent real-life player movements on the virtual court.

One such is the dunking animations which have always been a satisfying aspect of NBA games, especially contact dunks that let you get up close and personal to decimate your opponent. However, you need to meet certain requirements to successfully pull it off.

What Are Contact Dunks in NBA 2K24?

Unlike a basic layup or a floater, contact dunks allow you to send your opponent to the ground as you slam the ball into the basket. They are rather niche but they provide you with one of the most satisfying movements in the game. Investing stats into the contact dunk package will minimize your chances of getting blocked while also maximizing your poster ability. The game offers several contact dunk packages but only allows you to equip six of them on a MyPLAYER character due to height restrictions, where you need to be above 6’10 or under 6’5 to unlock them.
