EA FC 24 is set to release in a few days and fans are eager to see which players had the biggest ratings upgrade since FIFA 23. The newest edition in the football video game franchise is the first one to come out after the longtime collaboration between EA and FIFA ended. Ratings for players in the game have been historically tied to their real life performance. While some players have seen little or no change, there have been quite a few whose ratings have jumped up significantly. Let’s look at the top player rating upgrades in EA FC 24.
Top Player Rating Upgrades in EA FC 24
1. Alex Balde – 81 (+13)
The 19-year old Spaniard is getting a major ratings upgrade in EA FC 24. The Left Back for FC Barcelona made his debut towards the end of the 2021/22 season and was part of the La Liga and Spanish Super Cup winning squad in 2022/23, and in the summer of 2023 he became an official first team player. His standout performance has led to a huge 13 point ratings upgrade since last year.
2. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – 86 (+12)
The Napoli FC star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was widely regarded as one of the best players in Europe last season and he led Napoli to Serie A win, in what was a massive moment in the club’s history. The player received a 12-point upgrade since his last appearance in the game.
3. Roméo Lavia – 73 (+11)
Lavia has been a much sought after player, with both Liverpool and Chelsea making a bid for the Belgian. Chelsea agreed a fee of 53 million pounds ($67.32 million) for the 19-year old. Lavia signed for Manchester City in 2020 but made just two appearances for the club before joining Saints in July 2022 for 10.5 million pounds. The player has received an 11-point increase in his overall CDM in EA FC 24.
4. Moisés Caicedo – 80 (+10)
As a result of his excellent form with Brighton & Hove Albion last season, Moisés Caicedo was in high demand during the summer transfer window. The 21-year-old midfielder was officially announced as a Chelsea player in August. As a result of a ten-point rating increment, Caicedo becomes an 80-rated player overall.
5. Rasmus Højlund – 76 (+9)
Manchester United agreed to pay £72 million (including add-ons) for Rasmus Højlund to Serie A club Atalanta. Hojlund agreed to a five-year deal, with the option of an additional year. Højlund’s overall rating is also set to sore with a nine-point raise making him a 76-rated striker in EA FC 24.
