EA Sports FC 24 aims to re-invent itself after its separation from the FIFA franchise, ending three decades of partnership. Considering this is a new era for EA Sports, they aim to bring significant changes to differentiate themselves from their traditional FIFA name. EA Sports FC 24 comes with certain features like Hyper Motion V, Playstyles, and Sapien tech which adds a graphical overhaul to the game. Considering this, many players on older-gen consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 might be wondering if the game is making its way to their console.
So Is EA Sports Making Its Way to Xbox One and the PS4?
Yep, we can definitely expect to see EA Sports FC 24 making its way to the older-gen consoles, regardless of its graphical improvements. The Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 are certainly capable of handling EA Sports FC 24 despite the overhaul to the FrostBite engine that runs the game. One thing to note is that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will not support the HyperMotion V technology but it will support every other feature such as the Sapien tech, and PlayStyles featured along with all the major gameplay updates. Hypermotion V will only work on the current gen consoles like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and of course on PC as well.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will have all the gameplay features that the new game brings along with it, This includes the fully licensed 19,000 players, 700 teams, 115 stadiums, and the 30 leagues that will be featured in EA Sports FC 24.
Traditionally, FIFA games have always made their way to older-gen consoles with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 supporting it till FIFA 19, as they are not as graphically intensive as the next-gen AAA games. This seems to be the case with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well.
Furthermore, if you pre-order the game right now, you also get dual entitlement which means that EA Sports FC 24 will run on the older-gen consoles and the current-gen consoles. So if you were planning on upgrading to the PS5 or the Xbox Series X, you can still use your copy of the game.
