EA FC 24 is finally out on Early Access and fans are already getting started with the Ultimate Team mode. Like with previous games in the franchise, you can customize clubs, including changing your club name, changing your kit, stadium, logo and more. When you first boot up FUT, you get to choose your club name, badge and kit. The initial enthusiasm can make for some unfortunate name choices. However, you can change your club name in EA FC 24. Here is how you do it.
How to change your Club Name in EA FC 24
Players can customize various aspects of their clubs at any time. Once you enter the FUT mode, you can go to settings and change a lot of these settings. For new players, navigating the menu of the game may seem daunting. However, the whole process won’t take more than a few minutes. Here are the steps to change your club name in EA FC 24.
In the main menu, click on Ultimate Team and enter the mode.
In the Home section, hit C on PC to scroll right along the various sub-sections present.
Click on Settings. Then, scroll right and click Rename Club.
The screen will be updated. The players will be able to enter the full name of the club, select a nickname, and click on the Confirm button.
Once done, your club’s new names will be set.
It is important to note that the club name cannot be more than 15 characters. The Nickname you set can only be three characters long. However, within these restrictions, add numbers and spaces. Unfortunately, you cannot add any special characters to your club names as of now. You can also check out other players’ previous club names, through your old play records. You can change your club name as many times as you want, especially as you build your FUT up.
What has changed from FIFA 23?
Despite the rebranding, the franchise retains licenses of more than 19,000 players, over 700 teams, over 100 stadiums, and over 30 leagues. The title includes a number of improvements on features existing in FIFA 23 including HyperMotion V, and new AcceleRATE 2.0 system, both of which improve graphics and gameplay.
EA Sports FC 24 is currently out on Early Access for PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders for EA FC 24 began on 13th July 2023 with the game scheduled to release on 29th September 2023, which is when it will be available on the Nintendo Switch as well.
