EA Sports FC 24 will see changes to its Ultimate Team rewards which will supposedly change with every season.
EA FC 24 is hitting the shelves on 22nd September for Ultimate Edition buyers and EA Play Pro subscribers. The Standard edition will be available from 29th September.
The game will be available on several platforms such as the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The newly rebranded EA Sports FC 24 is only a few days away from hitting its early access on 22nd September. The game aims to significantly improve upon its predecessor by overhauling many fan-favorite game modes. The developer recently announced that Ultimate Team rewards will no longer have the Red Picks reward in FUT Champs, as the devs noticed that many players did not use their special cards and would often make use of the rewards earned from completing Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). Since then, speculations have been running wild online and many gamers claim that these rewards will be drastically improved from the previous ones. Let’s dive right into it.

Potential Rewards for EA FC’s Ultimate Team Champs

Reliable leaker @FUT24News has posted on Twitter regarding the new FUT champs rewards for Rank 1.

Although EA hasn't officially announced what the new rewards will be, they did say that they will provide “rewards of equivalent value in-game”. Ultimate Team Champs has always lured in tons of hardcore players who are looking to compete for the highest rank possible. If the aforementioned rewards are true, they can have a huge impact on your early game. Supposedly, they will also be carried over to lower ranks as well.

Please take the above data with a grain of salt, as it has not yet been officially confirmed by EA.

Are Previous Ultimate Team Rewards Completely Out of the Game?

The Red Picks rewards were a part of FUT Champs where they provided an exclusive variant of Team of the Week (TOTW) cards which can be acquired from the weekend league rewards.

Electronic Arts has confirmed that the Red Picks rewards will no longer appear in the game. The main intention of the Champions Players was to showcase the skills of iconic footballers, through their special versions. Since this wasn’t really practiced, the studio has made changes to ensure they can offer more focused rewards with a wider time frame.

The devs explained that the removal of the Champions Player from the default rewards will allow them to implement frequent changes to the Champions rewards throughout the year.

More such changes are also making their way to the game’s previous Rivals and Division Play modes which are now converted into a League Phase and a Playoff Phase where you earn rewards at the end of the season. Check out our Pro Clubs guide if you want to learn more.
