The EA FC 24 Future Stars Ultimate Team promo will be going live later this week. With the Road to the Final (RTTF) promo coming to a close, the Future Stars promo will be replacing it. Future Stars celebrate, “Wonderkids poised to take The World’s Game by storm.” The promo was first released in FIFA 19 and has become popular among fans since. EA FC 24 Future Stars: Release Date
The EA FC 24 Future Stars release date is Friday, 9th February, 2024. EA Sports confirmed the release date of the promo through the Ultimate Team loading screen. Most major Ultimate Team promos usually launch on Friday. This has been the case for Team Of The Year (TOTY) Winter Wildcards and Team of the Group Stage (TOTGS), amongst others. The date also marks the departure of the Road to the Final (RTTF) promo. Future Stars Team 2 will likely be announced next Friday on 16th February, 2024.
EA FC 24 Future Stars Cards
EA Sports has already announced the first player to be featured in the promo. Trinity Rodman is the first of the FC24 Future Stars.
According to Goal.com, Rodman is one of the brightest up-and-coming prospects in all of women's soccer, with the USWNT phenom playing a massive role for both club and country in 2023. Rodman's base card is 84-rated, tied for the seventh-highest among USWNT players in the 2024 edition of the video game.
Former Future Stars chosen by EA Sports have gone on to win league titles, team of the season honors, and even hoist international trophies. According to the developer the, “Special Player Item represents a footballer’s induction into an elite class of the brightest prospects in the game. Every upgrade represents what each Future Star could become, with upgrades that showcase them at their full potential.”
What will the Future Stars promo feature?
If previous Future Stars promos are any indication, the new edition may feature:
Future Stars Academy: This features FUT Objectives that allowed you to earn up to four versions of a Future Stars Academy Player, with each Player Item upgrading one step towards their prime.
Future Stars Dual Potential: With two versions of cards which represent different playing-style paths a player could take in their career.
Future Stars Swaps Program: Play towards Future Stars Player Items and rewards with another swaps program that allows you to exchange swap tokens for a variety of upgrades for your Ultimate Team.
