The absence of many players has been felt in EA Sports FC Mobile as players explore new football stars to add in their teams.
Their absence could be attributed to many reasons like retirement, being free agents etc.
In this article, we'll shed light on some of these big names that are missing from the action in EA Sports FC.

EA Sports FC Mobile has taken the gaming community and football enthusiasts by storm ever since its release. The zeal to get their hands on the game arises for players from the fact that they engage with their football stars. They even get to manage them as they become the managers of prominent clubs in the game. With the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe and others, the game has really taken off, despite the infamous EA-FIFA split.

However, there are some players who were unable to make the mark and their absence is felt among many fans. Either they couldn’t find their own clubs or haven’t yet fulfilled contractual formalities with EA. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of these rising stars who may or may not become a part of the game in the future.

Big Players Who Are Missing in Action in EA Sports FC Mobile

1. Zlatan Ibrahimović

A notable Swedish striker best known for his dexterous strikes and sleek technique, Zlatan Ibrahimović’s absence has been felt throughout. Retiring in June of this year, Ibrahimović’s contract ended with AC Milan and he decided to not renew it and instead cater to his injuries. In real life, his presence in several top-tier European clubs like Barcelona, PSG, and Juventus has left an indelible mark on them. Over years, he has become a fan favorite and his legacy continues as many still praise him for the time he has given to football. However, his absence in the stadium in real life has also been mirrored in EA Sports FC Mobile, leaving fans with a sense of loss.

3. David De Gea

David De Gea has been a key figure in the renowned Manchester United for as long as one can remember. This Spanish goalkeeper is reputed for his incredible skills and his absence raised quite a few eyebrows since he hasn’t yet left the field. However, in real life, he has not yet renewed his contract with Manchester United and is a free agent as of now. Due to this, he will not be virtually present in the game. However, all hope is not lost for the fans. It has been widely reported that MU has been in talks with De Gea to get him to join the club again. In case he renews his contract or joins another club, fans may find his card in FC Mobile.

3. Karim Bellarbi

A prominent presence in the German National Team. Karim Bellarbi’s absence has left fans wondering what could be the reason behind his absence. His legacy carries on, as he has crafted a reputation as a Bayer 04 Leverkusen winger. However, it has not always been an easy journey for this German star. In his long serving career of 12 years, he has succumbed to a lot of injuries, many of which became more frequent towards the end of his career in May of this year. While Bellarbi has not joined any club at the moment, players may get to see him in the game. He has hinted at wanting to play outside Europe and that just might be something that invites him to play virtually as well.

4. Gareth Bale

Unlike other players who are free agents or severely injured, Gareth Bale decided to draw curtains on his career in January 2023. This is why players have not been able to find him in the game. Despite his retirement, Bale continues to be a significant name in the football world, admired by many enthusiasts. This is a quite sad scenario since fans won’t be able to experience this incredible Welsh winger in the game.

5. Eden Hazard

This Belgian midfield attacker has managed to garner a reputation of international stature throughout his football career. His absence was marked with a lot of confusion as he has not yet retired, neither does he plan to do so soon. So what could have caused this absence from the virtual world? Well, it turns out that Hazard has been lingering around as a free agent for a long time. As soon as he joins a club, fans will be able to see him pop up in EA Sports FC Mobile as well.

Apart from these players, others like Gianluigi Buffon, Jesse Ellis Lingard, David Silva, Mesut Özil, Radja Nainggolan, have also not been seen in EA Sports FC Mobile. This does not mean that these players will never appear in the game. If any of them join a club in real life, we will certainly catch a glimpse of them in the virtual world as well.
