The trailer for Diablo 4 Season 2 was dropped during Gamescom 2023, showing off what we can expect including vampires. Diablo 4 Season 1 end date will be on 17th October, 2023, which is also the start date of Season 2. Expect the season to go live at 10:00 PDT in the US. For Europe, that's 17:00 UTC while Asian servers can expect to get the update on 01:00 SGT 18th October, 2023. Initially it was thought that the season would end on 9th October, however, the new season’s trailer confirmed the start date of Diablo 4 Season 2.
The new season of Diablo is called Season of Blood and will feature quests related to vampires invading Sanctuary. The new season will also feature a character seasonal reset, new bosses, a new battle pass and more.
So, once Diablo 4 Season 1 ends, all your new characters are going to be moved to the “Eternal Realm,” where players can keep playing with them without getting a Battle Pass or season progress. This system is familiar to classic Blizzard fans but might have been a shock to those who have joined Sanctuary this year.
What to expect in Diablo 4 Season 2?
The new season of Diablo 4 sees a Vampire Hunter companion called Erys added to the game, voiced by actress Gemma Chan.
Players will have to face a new vampire lord as part of the quests.
