League of Legends Worlds 2022 will soon resume with the semi-final matches.
Here are some of the copypastas you can expect in the Twitch chat as you watch these electrifying games.

League of Legends’ most-anticipated international tournament, its World Championship, is well underway. With the Play-in and Group stages of Worlds 2022 already done and dusted, the teams are battling it out in the Knockouts. Eight teams fought for their tournament life in the quarterfinals and four teams have proved their worth and secured their semifinals slot at Worlds 2022. There’s no contention to watching these games live from the venue but watching Worlds along with Twitch chat is an experience in itself. Here are some of the Twitch copypastas that might end up being spammed as you watch Worlds 2022 semi-finals and finals.

Faker’s fan

If you talk about League of Legends and its esports scene to anybody, they will most likely say Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok is the best player. Fans, analysts, and players alike consider Faker as the “GOAT” (Greatest of all time) of League of Legends and he has been pivotal in T1 (previously SK Telecom T1). T1 will be taking on JD Gaming in the first semi-finals of Worlds 2022 and Twitch chat always makes sure to voice its love and adoration for Faker.

T1 Faker

The Faker copypasta is: “If Faker has a million fans I am one of them. If Faker has ten fans I am one of them. If Faker has no fans, that means I am no more on earth. If the World is against Faker, I am against the World. I love Faker till my last breath.”

Remembering Yutapon

Yuta "Yutapon" Sugiura is the attack-damage carry (ADC) of DetonatioN FocusMe (DFM), a team that got eliminated from Worlds 2022 in the Play-in stage. Despite this early exit, fans remember the player and his infamous posture. Just like Valorant player Igor "Redgar" Vlaso, Yutapon is known for his unique posture. He sits way too close to the monitor and Twitch chat brings it up regardless of whether DFM is playing. However, it is more of a spam than a copypasta.

Yutapon spam

The copypasta includes a Pepe Frog emote called monkaMEGA. This emote has enlarged eyes, and is usually meant to convey nervousness, stress, or anxiety. However, in the case of Yutapon, the chat uses it to mimic his posture.

“YUTAPON monkaMEGA 🖥️ YUTAPON monkaMEGA 🖥️YUTAPON monkaMEGA 🖥️ YUTAPON monkaMEGA 🖥️YUTAPON monkaMEGA 🖥️ YUTAPON monkaMEGA”

Calling for Tahm Kench to be picked

Tahm Kench is a League of Legends champion who is often flex-picked into support and top-lane roles. The community simply loves the champion and often asks it to be picked during tournaments. It is important to note that Tahm Kench is a catfish but Twitch chat jokes and calls him a frog.

Tahm Kench

The Tahm Kench copypasta is: “UNROLL THE TADPOLE [OSFrog] THE FROG UNLOAD THE TOAD  [OSFrog] UNINHIBIT THE RIBBIT [OSFrog]  UNSTICK THE LICK [OSFrog] UNIMPRISON THE AMPHIBIAN  [OSFrog] UNMUTE THE NEWT  [OSFrog] UNBENCH THE KENCH  [OSFrog] PERMIT THE KERMIT [OSFrog] DEFOG THE POLLIWOG

The copypasta uses the Twitch emote of “OSFrog” to punctuate the different sentences. Tahm Kench has a pick/ban percentage of 9% at Worlds 2022.

Yuumi fans unite

Yuumi is not a fan-favorite in the League of Legends community. In fact, fans boo when the magical cat gets locked in at a tournament. However, Twitch chat likes to sarcastically praise the champion in a few different ways (We hope it is sarcasm!). They are as follows:

  • I hope Yuumi wins. I am a Yuumi main. I love cats, and my parents tell me I'm a parasite, so we have a lot in common. Yuumi might not be able to flash, but it lights up my life and heart. Go Yuumi!!!!!!

  • Yuumi isn’t so great? Are you kidding me? When was the last time you saw a champion with such skill expression and movement options in League? Yuumi puts the game to another level, and we will be blessed if we ever see a champion with her skill and options in the game again. Riven breaks the game. Vladimir breaks the game. Yuumi breaks the rules. You can keep your statistics. I prefer the magic.

Yuumi

Currently, according to Games of Legends, Yuumi has a 94% pick/ban rate at Worlds 2022. Additionally, you might also notice spams about Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon’s CS [creep score] hack.
