Where did monkaS come from?

The emote, monkaS came from on 4chan in a now-archived 2011 thread. It wouldn’t appear on Twitch until 5 years later after an illustration of the emote was uploaded to the FrankerFaceZ Twitch extension. But it wasn’t until Feb 2017, when it was dropped into Forsen’s Reddit page that the emote took off in a big way. On Feb 17th, 2017, Redditor kucykzaglady submitted a picture of the meme emote to the /r/forsen subreddit and in that same month, the emote was also added to the TwitchQuotes database.
