- Dr. Disrespect talks about ease of aim assist.
Dr Disrespect weighs in on aim assist saying “I almost don’t even need to look at the guy”.
Dr Disrespect made his career by streaming PUBG and has played other FPS games such as Call of Duty and Battlefield. The streamer currently has 1.55M subscribers on Youtube and 4.4M followers on Twitch.
Aim assist is a controversial topic in many FPSes including Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone. The game is becoming a popular game even among console players with over 30 million players worldwide and is on the way to break records set by Fortnite and Apex Legends. PC and console players have never really liked each other, but the situation has worsened over the past few years.
Epic Games first attempt at crossplay wasn’t too well received by PC players even back in 2018. Back then, having crossplay was a huge step in the right direction, but it feels that it has brought on more negative than positive. Activision and Infinity Ward have enabled crossplay functionality in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the same goes for Warzone as well.
Unfortunately, there have been complaints about mixed lobbies and streamers like Summit1g have not been happy. Shroud and Nadeshot have also recently talked about controller players saying they would like something to be done about them.
By the looks of it, Dr Disrespect certainly is unhappy with aim assist. It remains to be seen how he tolerates it.
