SkRossi was one of the star players during the recently concluded VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo.
During a recent Twitch livestream, Yinsu and Boaster spoke about SkRossi's potential as a Valorant player.
Boaster pointed out that SkRossi is influenced by "expectation pressure" and if he manages to get that under control his performance would improve.

One of the highlights for the Indian gaming community from the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo was the love and affection received by Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar, who experienced a lot more than just playing a match on the big stage.

Throughout his time in Brazil, one point that was constantly focused upon was his ability to perform against some of the best teams from across the world in upcoming tournaments.

Valorant power couple, Yinsu "Yinsu" Collins and Jake "Boaster" Howlett, spoke about the SkRossi's potential during a recent livestream, where they mentioned that he definitely has it in him but needs to forgo or manage the "expectation pressure" which seems to be influencing his current performance.

Yinsu and Boaster talk about how SkRossi can truly come into his element in Valorant

It is not easy to perform when the hopes and dreams of the entire nation lie on the shoulder of a player, especially if it is their first-ever showing on an international stage.

SkRossi created history by becoming the first player from India to compete in the Valorant Champions Tour, be a part of its presentation panel, and also participate in an international showmatch.

Despite all this, the discussion that everyone focussed on was related to his performance at the tournament, where he was playing the role of an initiator for the side instead of a duelist, which is what he used to play before.

Talking about SkRossi's potential, Boaster, the winning captain of the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, said that "The main problem with SKRossi is that he has expectation pressure, as soon as he gets over that then he can actually start playing like he wants to play."

He further shared that Fnatic's Valorant team also faced a similar kind of pressure during its outing at the VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík, which clearly affected the team's performance as it was knocked out in the group stage following consecutive loses to Ninjas in Pyjamas and ZETA DIVISION.

Adding to this, Yinsu simply says that SKRossi is a great payer and she really wants to see him playing with Jett.

SkRossi might be seen in action along with Global Esports at the upcoming VCT 2023: Pacific League. Unfortunately, he might not be seen playing with Jett even if he becomes a part of the playing five, simply because he has transitioned over to the role of an initiator.
