VersionX Valorant Roster Announced By Version1
Version1 announced an all-female Valorant roster which will be known as VersionX. The new team will be competing in the NA Valorant Champions Tour Game Changers event that will kick off at the end of this month. Version1 is not the only organization that is interested in women’s Valorant esports. Other major organizations like Complexity Gaming (CLG) and TSM have also shown interest in this year’s Game Changers events. The new VersionX roster features ex-Just Breathe players who moved to V1 as well as former CLG Red player Naomi Sauvola.
Version1 Female Roster Overview
The new VersionX roster features:
Kiara “Milkyway” Blue Kukilakilaokalani Makua (IGL – Controller)
Natalia “Natty” Jackson (Duelist/Flex)
Rachel Lynn “Rush” Hang (Initiator)
Katherine “Karra” Lee (Smoker/Sage specialist)
Naomi Sauvola (Sentinel/Skye specialist)
The entire roster with the exception of Naomi has competed together in the past under the Just Breathe banner in a previous NA Game Changers event. Naomi is formerly from CLG Red and will be competing in Version1’s VersionX roster moving forward.
The team will be seen competing in VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Game Changers North America Series 3.

Valorant Champions Tour Game Changers Series
Valorant Champions Tour Game Changers Academy
The Game Changers Series has been taking place in all major regions including Southeast Asia throughout 2021 and it complements the ongoing Valorant Champions Tour. The events feature the best women’s teams in the world. North America (NA) was the first region to host the event in March 2021 and it was later introduced to other regions as well.
The Valorant Game Changers Academy features monthly tournaments and offers players opportunities to compete at the grassroots and semi-pro level. All Academy events are organized in partnership with “GALORANTs”, which is one of the largest communities within Valorant.
The GALORANT community has previously partnered with Riot Games to organize the “For The Women Summer Showdown” tournament in September 2020. Both the Game Changers Series and the Academy program will seek to create the next generation of players competing at the Valorant Champions Tour.
VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Game Changers North America Series 3 Overview
The upcoming event will be hosted by Riot Games and Nerd Street Gamers. VersionX and other teams will be competing in the upcoming event for a prize pool of $50,000 USD. The event will feature eight teams which will be selected via open qualifiers.
The NA Game Changers event will kick off on 30th September 2021 and it will continue till 3rd October, 2021.
