The highly competitive tier-two regional Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) tournament VCT 2023 Ascension Pacific is finally underway. It is scheduled to take place from 28th June to 9th July with some of the best teams from the region coming together in Bangkok, Thailand to take on each other.

After fierce competition across two splits, the champions from various sub-regions have managed to cement a slot for themselves in the regional finals. The tournament winner will go on to secure a direct slot in the VCT 2024 Pacific League and VCT 2025 Pacific League.

VCT 2023 Ascension Pacific: Complete Details

Taking place on LAN in Bangkok, Thailand, the entire tournament has been split between two venues, Pullman Grande Sukhumvit Hotel and Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

The former is a luxury hotel in the heart of the city and it will be hosting the entire Group Stage. Whereas the latter is a convention center and exhibition hall with a capacity of 3500 seats. The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center will host the Playoffs stage.

VCT 2023 Ascension Pacific: Format

Group Stage

  • The 10 qualified teams will be divided into two groups of five teams each.

  • Both groups will follow a single round-robin format.

  • All matches will be played in a best-of-three series.

  • The top three teams from each group will qualify to the Playoffs. The top teams from both groups will directly qualify for the semifinals, while the second and third-placed teams will proceed to the quarterfinals.

  • The remaining teams from each group will be eliminated from the tournament.

Playoffs

  • This stage will follow a single-elimination bracket.

  • All matches played will be a best-of-three series except for the grand final which will be a best-of-five series.

  • The winner will be crowned as the champion of VCT 2023 Ascension Pacific and cement its spot in the VCT 2024 and VCT 2025 Pacific League.
