It has been a tough fight for these teams, facing stiff competition in their respective regions during the first half of the year to finally reach the final step of the ladder.

All six qualifying teams are the best that their region or country has to offer at this point in time and they will be looking forward to competing in the international league from next year onwards.

Here are all six teams that will be locking horns in this crucial tournament which can break or make their future.

  1. 9z Team | Latin America: South

  2. The Union | Brazil

  3. 00 Nation | Brazil

  4. FUSION | Latin America: North

  5. M80 | North America

  6. The Guard | North America

9z Team

The team has been the most dominant team from southern Latin America with its mixed international roster which comprises players from Argentina and Chile.

After going undefeated through the VCL 2023: LAS Split 1 where it dropped a total of just two maps, its performance has undergone a slight dip in the VCL 2023: LAS Split 2 as other teams have stepped up to the occasion.

Despite facing a few loses it has managed to grab the only available slot for the region and will be representing it in the final tournament.

The Union

Leading from the front, this team had plenty of flaws and it did lose here and there but in the end it managed to win the VCL 2023: Brazil Split 1.

The team returned stronger for the next split where it went undefeated to claim one of the two available slots for the country, turning its focus towards the next goal.

00 Nation

This team had a rough start placing second-last in the VCL 2023 Brazil Split 1 despite receiving a direct invite to the tournament. However, the team put in the required work and wne to place second at the VCL 2023 Brazil Split 2.

The team registered a 4-3 score in the regular season and hustled hard to reach the grand final, where it got swept but still managed to qualify through to the regional finals.

FUSION

One of the top two contenders from its region, FUSION had finished as the runners-up of the VCL 2023 Latin America North Split 1 following a really tight grand final against Six Karma.

However, FUSION was prepared for the VCL 2023 Latin America North Split 2. They went undefeated through he group stage and handed consecutive defeats to Six Karma in the playoffs to represent LATAM in the regional finals.

M80

They made their way into the VCL 2023 North America Challenger Playoffs only to go undefeated into the grand finals, handing consecutive sweeps to Shopify Rebellion, Oxygen Esports, and Moist Moguls.

Even in the grand final they barely broke a sweat, achieving a rather comfortable victory and qualifying to the next round as the proud champions.

The Guard

Not many expected them to make it all the way to the grand final after they dropped down to the lower bracket, but the team hustled hard handing clean defeats to G2 Esports, Oxygen Esports, and Moist Moguls to qualify through to the regional finals.

On the North American circuit standings they had placed second overall with a total of 45 points to their name right below the top ranked M80.

Out of the six available slots, only two have been occupied till now. The remaining spots will also get filled in the due course of time as other regional leagues near their end. The final stage is slowly taking shape but only one team will be able to ascend to the international stage, so prepare yourself for some top-notch action as everyone delivers its absolute best.
