VCC 2022: Format, Schedule, Teams, All You Need to Know

Valorant Conquerors Championship 2022 is coming to a close with eight teams left in the competition for Stage One.

The top two teams at the event will be heading to the Valorant Champions Tour Asia-Pacific Challenger Playoffs later this year.

The VCC 2022 Stage One main event commences on 18th February and it ends with the grand final on 27th February.

The Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) 2022 event is the gateway for South Asia into Valorant esports. The VCC is being hosted as a result of a partnership between NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games. Just like the previous iteration of the event, VCC 2022 will help decide which teams from South Asia will make it to the Asia-Pacific Challenger Playoffs. Unlike last year, this year’s competition will offer more slots and opportunities for teams in South Asia to make it to the Valorant Champions Tour main events.

Valorant Conquerors Championship 2022 Format

The group stage will take place in two GSL-style brackets with each group set to include four teams. All matches in the group stage will be decided in a best-of-three format. The top two teams from each group will make it to the playoffs.

During the playoffs, the four teams that qualify will face off against each other in a double-elimination bracket. All matches during this stage will be in a best-of-three format with the grand final set to be decided in a best-of-five series.

The qualifiers for the Stage One event are now over and the Stage 1 main event is ready to kick off. The upcoming event is set to take place from 18th to 27th February 2022. The group stage will take place from 18th to 20th February while the playoffs will take place from 25th to 27th February.

Valorant Conquerors Championship 2022 Prize Pool

The upcoming event will have a prize pool of $30,000 USD with the winning team set to receive $15,000. The MVP of the event will be awarded $1,500.
