NODWIN Gaming has once again partnered with Riot Games to bring the second iteration of the Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC).
This time around, winners of the Valorant Conquerors Championship will serve as a gateway to the Asia Pacific (APAC) Challengers events instead of the Last Chance Qualifier.
Registrations for the VCC will open on 6th January 2022.

South Asian esports company NODWIN Gaming announced its partnership with Riot Games for the 2022 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). NODWIN will be hosting yet another Valorant Conquerors Championship (VCC) event for the 2022 competitive season which will allow teams from South Asia to compete for a slot at VCT’s Asia-Pacific Challenger Playoffs. Registrations for the Valorant Conquerors Championship will open on 6th January 2022.

Valorant Conquerors Championship Overview

NODWIN’s Valorant Conquerors Championship event is the gateway to the Asia Pacific (APAC) Challenger Playoffs, the regional event that will offer a slot for the VCT Masters One in April 2022.

Sukamal Pegu, Publishing Leader, India and South Asia at Riot Games said in the official announcement, “We, at Riot Games, are thrilled to be associated with NODWIN Gaming for VCC 2022 which will see participants from South Asia become a part of this global circuit. This is a great platform for the Indian & South Asian esports talent to take on global competition.”

The change in format is a great move for South Asian Valorant esports. In 2021, teams in the region got just one opportunity via the VCC which awarded players with a slot for the APAC Last Chance Qualifier. In 2022, South Asia stands to get more than one opportunity to make it to Champions and fans will be excited to see if one of the popular teams in the region makes it to the main event.

Akshat Rathee, MD & Co-Founder of NODWIN Gaming said “We’ve seen a huge interest build up among South Asian players for our VCC property since its launch, as it gives all Valorant players an opportunity to compete and leave their mark at an international level. This is the second year we are working with Riot on the VCC and together we aim to elevate the level of the competition this year.”

The schedule and format for the upcoming event are not yet available. Registrations for VCC 2022 will be live on 6th January 2022 on https://vcc.nodwingaming.com/
