Valorant Patch Notes 3.12: Agent Specific Keybinds Are Finally Here
Valorant patch 3.12 is the final major patch for 2021 and the developer team will be taking a break for the holidays. With Valorant Champions ongoing, there will be no major balance changes this patch as Riot Games avoids implementing any balance changes to its games during esports events. The new update introduces agent-specific keybinds which is something players have been asking for since launch. Friendly fire detection has also been added to prevent players from blasting their teammates with grenades and dealing excessive damage. Here is everything that was added in Valorant patch 3.12.
Valorant Patch Notes 3.12: Agent-specific keybinds
You can now go to the Settings Menu and set different keybinds for each agent.
Go to Settings >> Controls >> Actions to get started
You can create, delete, and search for keybind profiles for each Agent. You cannot create more than one profile per Agent.
Riot also has provided an option to copy your default keybindings to a single profile or all profiles at once. Now when your keybinds are in conflict, you can see what other items the binding is assigned to.
You can revert individual changes made to bindings in each keybind profile. Reverting will reset the keybind to what it was at the time the profile was created.
Valorant Patch Notes 3.12: Social Updates
Now can now report disruptive players during the pregame. Just hover over the name and click on report. You can also add players to your friends list if you have a positive experience.
Friendly fire is now being detected so blasting grenades and dealing excessive damage to teammates is now being tracked by Riot Games.
Valorant Patch Notes 3.12: Wide Player Cards Make A Return
Riot Games has brought back the Wide Player cards that are shown during the Loading Screens and in the kill banners.
