Valorant announced the Magepunk 3.0 bundle set to release soon.
This version of the bundle will bring the steampunk aesthetic to two of the most used guns in the game.

The third iteration of the Valorant Magepunk bundle was announced by the developer today. The Magepunk 3.0 bundle will bring the steampunk aesthetic to a new set of weapons. This version of Magepunk includes skins for the Vandal, Phantom, and a Melee. The bundle is coming soon to Valorant, going live a week after Patch 6.10. Here is all you need to know about the Valorant Magepunk 3.0 bundle.

Valorant Magepunk 3.0 release date

According to the tweet by Riot Games, the Magepunk 3.0 bundle will go live on 29th May. Although Riot usually waits for new patches to go live with new gun skins, they’ve changed it up this time around. The Run It Back collection will continue to stay in the store for a bit longer.

Magepunk 3.0 Gun Skins

In the tweet, Riot also showcased which skins will be present in this bundle. While older Magepunk bundles had a larger number of weapon skins, the 3.0 bundle is giving two of the most used weapons in the game a steampunk update. Magepunk 3.0 will have skins for:

  • Vandal

  • Phantom

  • Sparkswitch Melee

The Sparkswitch melee will be the third melee weapon skin coming to this line, alongside the earlier Shock Gauntlet and Electroblade. Fans are excited to see the Sparkswitch resemble the many butterfly knives in the game but we won’t know if it will have similar animations till its release.

This will bring the total Magepunk skins in the game up to 13, with only the Classic, Shorty, Stinger, Bulldog, Judge, Frenzy and Odin not getting one. It is still unclear if the 3.0 bundle will include any of these weapons since past bundles have been beefier with five weapons each. Perhaps Riot has a surprise in store with two more weapons getting the Magepunk treatment, or the developer has some of them saved for the Magepunk 4.0 bundle. Although Riot has not specified it, all the Magepunk skins so far have come with variants, so it is likely that this bundle will also include the same.

Magepunk 3.0 Price

It is still unknown how much this bundle will cost you. The first two Magepunk bundles cost 7100 Valorant Points each. If this bundle only comes with three skins, it will likely be priced lower than earlier bundles. The individual gun price will likely be higher, so as to incentivise buying the entire Magepunk 3.0 bundle.
