Riot Games officially revealed Valorant’s newest agent Fade but a lot of information surrounding her has been kept under wraps. The Turkish agent is set to get a proper cinematic trailer on 24th April but Fade’s release date in Valorant is yet to be officially revealed. But with Valorant Episode 4 Act II coming to an end later this month, fans already know when we can expect the new agent to arrive in-game.

Valorant Fade Release Date

Fade does not have an official release date yet, but Valorant Episode 4 Act II is coming to an end on 26th April. Act III should kick off on the same day with a new content update. This new update is expected to include Fade along with a brand new battle pass, skins, and possibly even some balance changes.

What is Fade’s role in Valorant?

Fade’s role in Valorant is that of an initiator. Initiators are one of the four roles that agents are divided into. The abilities of agents under the Initiator role focus on flushing enemies out of hiding spots and corners to help their teammates engage.

What are Fade’s abilities in Valorant?

While the abilities are not officially confirmed. Valorant leaker “ValorLeaks” shared the agent’s alleged abilities on Twitter.

Prowler 300 credits (C): Send out a creature that can follow trails or be controlled by moving your mouse. Upon reaching an enemy, they will be Nearsighted for three seconds. Only one Creature per Trail.

Seize 200 credits (Q): Equip and Fire an Orb which will stay in the air for a max of 1.5 seconds, and then slam to the ground. When the orb hits the ground Enemies within the radius will be tethered, and will take damage and be deafened.

Haunt (E): Equip and Fire an Orb which will stay in the air and then hit the ground. Then it will go back into the air and turn into an eye. If Enemies get seen by the eye they will be revealed and a trail debuff is applied.

Nightfall (Ultimate): Send out a wave of dark mist. If the mist hits an enemy, they will be Deafened, Trailed, and Decayed.

Fade’s release date in Valorant along with her abilities will be confirmed on 24th April and fans should get to try her out once she launches soon after.
