Riot Games is hosting its first-ever official international Valorant tournament in India and the entire community is looking forward to it.

Valorant Convergence 2023 is all set to take place from 14th to 17th December at the Manpho Convention Center in Bengaluru, Karnataka, featuring a total prize pool of $50,000 USD.

Six teams will be giving their absolute best in front of a live audience, four of which will be foreign invites that are part of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), while the remaining two will be local teams from India.

All Teams Participating in Valorant Convergence 2023

A total of six teams are participating in this tournament, five of these are franchised teams from different regions, while a slot was reserved for a local challenger who had to make its way through an Indian Qualifier.

FURIA Esports | Direct Invite

This is a completely Brazilian lineup that competes in VCT Americas. The team had undergone a few changes in its roster and has already competed in a few VCT OFF//SEASON tournaments.

FUT Esports | Direct Invite

This team from Turkey represents the entire country and competes in VCT EMEA. There are a couple of roster changes that have been implemented and this will be the team’s fourth showing since the official season concluded.

Gen.G Esports | Direct Invite

This team from South Korea competes in VCT Pacific during the regular season. It is stepping out with a completely new roster albeit one player and this will be its first international outing since VCT 2023.

Team Vitality | Direct Invite

This team is a mixed-bag of European players who represent a French organization and compete in VCT EMEA during the league stage. With a new core in place, they will be taking the stage after more than six months since their last appearance.

Global Esports | Direct Invite

This is the only team from South Asia to compete in VCT Pacific and represent the entire region. They have undergone a complete makeover and will be looking to put their best foot forward in front of their home crowd.

True Rippers | Indian Qualifier

This is a true underdog team that has managed to reach this stage by winning the Indian Qualifier for the event. It is a special chance for them to prove their worth by taking on some of the best teams from around the world.
