League of Legends Season 13 or 2023 introduced several crucial changes at the start of the year that fundamentally changed the ranked system. For the first time ever, Riot Games introduced a new two-split system for Ranked, keeping in vogue with other games including Teamfight Tactics (TFT).
With the ranked season split into two parts, players were given the opportunity to track their progress better and also earn more rewards. Notably, Split 1 of League of Legends Season 2023 ranked kicked off on 11th January for most regions and ended on 17th July.
Following this, Split 2 of League of Legends Season 2023 Ranked began immediately and is soon coming to an end on 9th January 2024. As a result, Riot Games revealed the Victorious Skin for Split 2 and also the reward for scoring the most honor points. Final Dev Update of 2023 Confirms Ranked, Honor Rewards for Split 2
At the start of the year, Riot Games revealed that players can earn Victorious skins just by playing Ranked, earning Split Points, and reaching at least Honor Level 2. The number of games one has to play, however, depends on the player’s rank. The Victorious Skin for Season 2023 Split 1 Ranked was Victorious Anivia.
In the recent Dev Update, League of Legends Executive Producer Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee and Head of League Studio Andrei “Meddler” van Roon touched upon the newest additions to the Victorious and Three Honor skinlines, coming in early 2024.
As mentioned earlier, for the first time, League of Legends players will get two Victorious skins as ranked rewards for 2023 season. Additionally, with no official preseason between the current and the upcoming, Riot announced that the ranked rewards will be rolled out only in early 2024.
For Split 2 of the 2023 ranked season, the Victorious skin that will be awarded to players with enough split points will be for Tryndamere. Eligible players will receive Victorious Tryndamere via LoL Patch 14.4.
On 31st August 2022, Riot Games revealed a new skin line called Three Honors which will be the reward for players who stay positive and honorable on the Summoner’s Rift.
Riot Games said, "The Three Honors skin line is replacing these [Medieval skins] new chromas. Honor 5 capsules will still contain the token you can redeem for Twitch, Warwick, or their previous chromas.”
For this year, the new Three Honors Skin is given to Akshan.
The devs said, "Speaking of honor rewards, for those who reached the highest honor rank, this year’s reward skin is Three Honors Akshan.” Three Honors Akshan will be out in LoL Patch 14.2, noted Riot Games.
