India-based tournament organizer The Esports Club (TEC) has raised $3 Million USD as part of its Pre-Series A funding to expand its operations to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The organization which was established by industry veterans Mansoor Ahmed Noor, Ishaan Arya, and Vamsi Krishna is looking to expand its reach beyond just South Asia and the funding will help The Esports Club achieve its goals.
The Esports Club will launch new initiatives internationally following the funding
The Esports Club is one of the biggest tournament organizers in India and has partnered with premium esports IPs since its inception in 2019. The organization has delved into various esports titles including Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Apex Legends, Free Fire, CS:GO, PUBG: New State, and more.
Most of The Esports Clubs’ events were hosted in India with the organization recently expanding to South Asia and Southeast Asia as well. With the new funding, TEC will expand its presence globally and we can expect more content, events, and partnerships to take place in its target regions.
TEC Founder Vamsi Krishna said in an official press release, "We are thrilled to have secured this funding and to be expanding our operations to new regions. "Esports is a rapidly growing industry, and we are excited to be at the forefront of it. We are committed to building a strong and sustainable Esports ecosystem, and this funding will allow us to do just that. We are excited to bring our competitive tournaments, events, and content to new audiences, and to help cultivate the next generation of Esports talent.”
QuantAscend Consulting Global and Beeline Capital Advisors Private Limited secured the investment of $3 Million USD for TEC. The organization will be investing heavily into the Middle East and Southeast Asian markets with state-of-the-art broadcast facilities being high on TEC’s priorities for its expansion.
With this investment, The Esports Club looks to support the organization's growth in the gaming events and Esports space, including the expansion of its operations, events, and content creation. TEC will also be launching new initiatives in regions, including the hiring of local broadcast talent, hosting events, and developing a strong online presence. TEC will be working closely with local communities to foster the growth of esports in these regions, and to provide opportunities for players to showcase their skills and pursue their careers in gaming.
