Subroza’s team won the Lil Bro Cup hosted by Tarik and Ludwig.
The tournament saw the participation of 20 pros split into 4 teams.

Content creator and streamers Tarik "tarik" Celik and Ludwig Ahgren teamed up to organize a Valorant tournament titled “Lil Bro Cup” featuring 20 Valorant stars. The tournament was announced by Sentinels on 30th November. Sentinels wrote in a tweet, “20 Valorant stars. 2 questionable hosts. 1 Tournament to decide everything. Announcing the Lil Bro Cup.” The tournament featured four superstar teams – Team Subroza, Team Rossy, Team Zander, and Team BcJ – competing at the highest level on 5th December (IST). However, Team Subroza emerged victorious and took away the cash prize of $7,000 USD.

Announcing the winners, tarik wrote, “Thanks to @LudwigAhgren for being a W co-host, and @sapphiReGG + @priusOBS for observing for the event. Massive love to all the players who participated as well. Should we do this again? 👀

Tarik added that he had a blast hosting the event and that he definitely plans on “running it back with better production”. He added, “Ludwig x Tarik in Jan[uary] up next,” teasing another potential collaboration on the line.

Team Subroza wins Lil Bro Cup

The Lil Bro Cup featured three best-of-three (BO3) series: two semi-finals and one final. However, there was also a best-of-one consolation final during the tournament. 

In the semifinals, Team Rossy went up against Team Zander and won 2-0 while Team Subroza won against Team BcJ with a 2-1 series score. However, it was a clean series for Subroza’s team in the grand final where it won 2-0 against Rossy’s squad. Meanwhile, Team Zander and Team BcJ played a consolation final, and Zander’s squad won with a 13-11 score. 

After winning the Lil Bro Cup, BabyJ wrote, “In case y’all forgot, I still got it. Shoutout to my teammates for carrying me in the finals. This kid @iiTzTimmy is good at every game he plays.

Meanwhile, iiTzTimmy tweeted, “Lil bro cup MVP 🥶 maybe I should go pro.

According to vlr.gg, the prize pool of the tournament was $10K USD and the following was the split between the top teams:

  • Team Subroza: $7,000 USD

  • Team Rossy: $2,000 USD

  • Team Zander: $1,000 USD
