The Esports Club (TEC) announced its Challenger Series Valorant event which will feature South Asian and Southeast Asian (SEA) teams competing for a prize pool of INR 15,00,000 ($20,000). There will be regional qualifiers from 13th to 16th December 2021, followed by a double-elimination bracket featuring the top eight teams. The event will commence on 13th December leading up to the grand finals which will be held on 24th December 2021.
TEC Challenger Series Valorant Overview
The Esports Club has partnered with Intel for the upcoming event which will see some of the best teams from South Asia and SEA compete. South Asia will be represented by countries from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. Southeast Asia will be represented by Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

TEC Challenger Series Valorant: Schedule and Format
The TEC Challenger Series Valorant event will feature open qualifiers from 13th to 16th December which will see teams from South Asia and SEA compete in their respective qualifiers. Four teams will make it out via each qualifier to compete in the upcoming event.
South Asia Open Qualifiers: 13th to 16th December.
Southeast Asia Open Qualifier: 13th to 16th December
Matches will be streamed from 4 PM to 10 PM IST.
The playoffs stage will see the teams from both regions go up against each other from 17th December to 24th December 2021.
Double-elimination bracket: 17th to 23rd December 2021
Grand Finals: 24th December 2021
There will be two streams at 4 PM IST and 8 PM IST from 17th to 23rd December. The grand finals will be streamed on 24th December at 4 PM IST.
All matches will be best-of-three except the grand finals, which will be best-of-five.
TEC Challenger Series: Prize Pool
The upcoming event will feature a prize pool of INR 15,00,000 ($20,000) with the winning team taking home INR 7,50,000 ($10,000). The rest of the prize pool will be distributed among the 2nd to 6th place teams.
