SkRossi, Lightningfast to Join Global Esports at VCT Pacific League by Next Week
All seven players will soon be seen together in South Korea.
It is finally happening, after facing travel delays due to the visa approval process that took a bit longer than expected, Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar and Abhirup "Lightningfast" Choudhury, will soon be joining the rest of the Global Esports lineup in South Korea very soon.
As per the latest update provided by Rushindra "Salbatic" Sinha - CEO of Global Esports, he along with both players have received their visas and will be getting their passports soon.
"ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) flight to South Korea for SkRossi, Lightningfast, and me is Monday (hopefully no new hurdles)," stated Rushindra, in his public statement.
SkRossi and Lightningfast will reach South Korea for VCT 2023 Pacific League by next week
This update comes just a day after SkRossi announced that he will be missing out on the opening match of Global Esports against T1 at the VCT 2023: Pacific League. Though his visa for South Korea has now been approved it does not change the situation and the statement still holds true.
This will be the first time, since Global Esports entered competitive Valorant, that the Indian esports organization will be stepping out with a completely international lineup.
Jordan "AYRIN" He - Canada
Kim "t3xture" Na-ra - South Korea
Park "Bazzi" Jun-ki - South Korea
Michael "WRONSKI" Wronski - Australia
Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha - Indonesia
He will be joined by Lightningfast and Rushindra, who have also received their visas and the trio could be on their flight to South Korea by Monday, 27th March, if they face no other obstructions leading up to their departure.
In a separate statement made by SKRossi, the player still showed a bit of doubt if he will be able to play against DRX on 3rd April or not. This does not seem related to the travel woes faced by Global Esports which will be easily sorted by then and could be related to the playing five selection for that particular match.
DRX is one of the toughest organizations in the league so Global Esports will be looking to field their best playing five against them and there could be a chance that SkRossi does not make it. However, all this is just mere speculation at this point based on statements made by the player.
