Highlights
Global Esports has been eliminated from the VCT 2023 Pacific LCQ and its VCT 2023 season has come to an end.
SkRossi was the lowest rated and worst performing player for Global Esports during its last match of the season against Team RRQ.
SkRossi publicly apologized for his poor performance to all the fans and even his team.

Global Esports' run in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 season has come to an end following the team's elimination from the VCT 2023 Pacific Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). The representative from South Asia faced a disheartening 2-0 loss against Team RRQ in the do-or-die match.

One player in particular who faced the wrath of Global Esports' (GE) regional supporters was Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar who really struggled to find success across the entire must win series.

The team was desperate for some hero plays but unfortunately SkRossi was unable to pull through for the side, finishing the series with a K/D/A (Kill/Death/Assist) of 24/36/5, nowhere near what the 25-year-old is capable of achieving in the server.

After the match, SkRossi came forward with a public apology to all the fans, supporters, and even his team, for not being able to deliver his best and holding them back from achieving better results.

SkRossi Apologizes for Poor Performance in Season-Ending Match for Global Esports

There has always been a debate within the regional community about the Valorant lineup of Global Esports as it only consists of two Indian players, SkRossi and Abhirup "Lightningfast" Choudhury.

Between the two, SkRossi has been the prime pick for the side and has become a part of its main roster alongside four other overseas players, but his performance has not been steady enough to produce consistent results.

In what was to become GE's last match of the VCT 2023 circuit, SkRossi was not able to find his groove against Team RRQ. Despite the team requiring him to clutch a few rounds in such a crucial stage, he was not able to deliver with his strongest pick, Jett.

Split

  • K/D/A - 12/20/3

  • Average Combat Score - 150

  • Average Damage / Round - 100

  • First Kill/First Deaths - 1/3

Ascent

  • K/D/A - 12/16/2

  • Average Combat Score - 130

  • Average Damage / Round - 86

  • First Kill/First Deaths - 2/2

This prompted SkRossi to make a public apology to his fans, supporters, and even the team. He was sorry for holding back Global Esports from achieving better results while revealing that he has never felt this horrible about himself.

"I only hope god gives me enough strength to get back up from all of this negativity and continue to do what I love the most," said SkRossi.

Many fans, prominent figures, and organizations of the Valorant community stepped up to encourage SkRossi and wished him a stronger comeback for the next season of the Valorant Champions Tour.

It will be interesting to see what SkRossi and Global Esports do during this downtime away from the competitive side of things. There are a lot of tough decisions to make and many factors to take into consideration. They will definitely be eyeing a stronger return and hopefully fans will get to see a much better performance from them.
