Sentinels Knocks Out 100T to Setup Rematch at VCT Challengers Finals

XSET and Sentinels are headed to the grand finals of the Valorant Champions Tour North America Stage 3 Challengers 1 event. Sentinels faced off against 100 Thieves in the lower bracket finals earlier today and despite 100T’s best efforts to shut down the VCT Stage 2 Masters champions, Sentinels made it through and the team will be heading into a rematch against XSET. Sentinels’ road to a victory at the event came to a blockage with XSET knocking the team into the lower bracket earlier this month and it will be interesting to see if XSET can take out the Stage 2 champions for the second time at the grand finals.

XSET will be looking to beat Sentinels a second time at the event

XSET is going through a dream run at the Valorant Champions Tour NA Stage 3 Challengers 1 event with decisive wins against Rise, Sentinels and 100 Thieves. The team knocked some of the best teams in NA out of the upper bracket and Stage 2 champions Sentinels will be looking to make a comeback and secure a win against XSET at the grand finals.

100 Thieves went up against Sentinels in the lower bracket final earlier today and despite 100T putting on quite the performance at Haven with the match going into overtime, Sentinels dominated on Breeze. With a 2-0 victory in the best-of-three set, Sentinels is heading into the grand finals of the Valorant Champions Tour NA Stage 3 Challengers 1 event tomorrow and the team will be looking to seize a lion’s share of the $50,000 prize pool.

It will be interesting to see if XSET can pull off a win against Sentinels for the second time at the event. XET signed ‘dephh’ and ‘zekken’ last month and it has led to an immediate impact on the roster with the team putting on impressive performances recently. Sentinels has proven itself as the number one contender to be the first-ever Valorant world champions and the team will be looking to secure first-place at the ongoing Challengers event and be a part of Valorant Masters Stage 3 Berlin.
