With Valorant Masters Berlin underway, teams are attempting to secure circuit points at the event to qualify for Valorant Champions. Teams that fail to qualify during Stage 3 of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) will get one last chance to qualify for the world championships. Riot Games just announced the format and broadcast schedule for the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour APAC (Asia Pacific) Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) which will commence on 11th October leading up to the grand finals on 17th October. The best teams in Asia-Pacific will be competing against each other for one last spot at the year-end Valorant Champions event.

The APAC LCQ will see a total of ten teams compete from five different regions. The team allocation for the upcoming event is as follows:

  • Southeast Asia - 3

  • China - 2

  • Korea - 2

  • Japan - 2

  • South Asia - 1

Teams will be awarded slots based on VCT circuit points. Only teams that have not already qualified for the Valorant Champions will be eligible for the APAC LCQ. Slots will also be allocated in regions where circuit points were not awarded. These regions will have their own events (like the Valorant Conquerors Championship for South Asia) to allocate its participants.

The top seeded teams from Southeast Asia, China, Korea and Japan will be seeded into the second round with the rule that Southeast Asian teams cannot be matched with each other in the initial rounds. Remaining teams will be randomly seeded for the first round.

The winners will head straight to Valorant Champions and represent the APAC region.

The upcoming event will be online-only, in light of the ongoing global pandemic. For the Indian audience, there will be a Hindi broadcast for the event which will be hosted by NODWIN Gaming. Viewers can check out the Hindi broadcast on NODWIN Gaming’s Youtube channel.
