Valorant’s newest agent ‘Chamber’ has been officially revealed with a brand-new trailer that showcases the French agent using his flashy abilities. Chamber is a weapons designer who is reminiscent of Aphelios from League of Legends, with his ability to spawn weapons for himself including a lethal sniper. The new agent is a Sentinel who can hold down areas on his own and has the ability to slow enemies down to land the perfect shot.
Chamber's Abilities in Valorant
Valorant Character Producer John Goscicki revealed in the official announcement, “As we worked on Chamber, the evolution of someone who can hold down a site with an array of weapons emerged. Between your loadout, his pistol/ult, and gadgets, a player should be able to hold down a location—but it’s up to you to use the tools correctly and creatively.”
The new agent is a Sentinel that is capable of holding down locations on his own. His entire kit is designed around creating weapons with his abilities and also slowing enemies down with Trademark (C) and Tour de Force (X). He also has his Rendezvous ability to help him relocate by using his teleport anchors. The ability seems flexible as he can pick up the anchors and redeploy them instead of consuming an ability charge.
(C) Trademark: Chamber places a trap that scans for enemies. When a visible enemy comes in range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around them, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.
(Q) Headhunter: Chamber equips a heavy pistol. Players can alt fire with the pistol equipped to aim down sights.
(E) Rendezvous: Chamber places two teleport anchors. While on the ground and in range of an anchor, players can reactivate the ability to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up to be redeployed.
(X) Tour de Force: Chamber summons a powerful, custom sniper rifle that will kill an enemy with any direct hit. Killing an enemy creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.
When is Chamber releasing in Valorant?
Chamber was originally scheduled for release on 2nd November 2021, but Riot Games announced that he will not be showing up with Valorant Episode 3 Act III (Patch 3.09). Instead, he will be added to the game sometime around 16th November 2021 when Patch 3.10 goes live.
