Riot Games released the first Indian agent Harbor in Valorant on 18th October for the entire player base to enjoy. It was more than just a new agent’s launch since Riot Games turned it into a celebration on all fronts. It took inspiration from the best of Indian cinema and music and authentically represented the multi-faceted and colorful country. Notably, Riot organized a launch event in Mumbai, India for the release of Harbor which saw the participation of a number of Indian esports personalities, influencers, and celebrities. Apart from the physical community event, Riot Games rolled out a number of digital activities for players to enjoy. One such announcement is the Harbor fan art contest for fans in India and South Asia.


Harbor Fan Art Contest: What is it? How to Sign Up?

Riot Games’ Harbor fan art contest is being held on Twitter and the publisher stated that it is time for the community artists to show their skills and make waves with their creativity by showcasing cool harbor artwork. The top five entries will take home a Harbor-inspired swag kit, announced Riot Games via its Valorant India & South Asia handle.

On 11th November, Riot Games wrote, “Harbor's made his entrance, now it's time for our community artists to make waves with their creativity by sharing their Harbor fan art! Use the hashtag #HarborFanArt and tag us @playvalorantsa so we don’t miss your entry! Top 5 entries will take home a Harbor-inspired swag kit.

Please note that the deadline for entries is on 18th November at 11:59 PM IST. The winners will be contacted directly by Riot Games by 22nd November via direct messages. Additionally, this contest is only open to players in India and South Asia.

The contest is subject to Riot Games’ “Legal Jibber Jabber” and hence those who are willing to participate in this Harbor fan art contest should give the legal guidelines a quick glance.


Riot Games makes waves in India with Harbor

To welcome Harbor to the fold, Riot Games also rolled out a number of digital activities for players to enjoy. Firstly, Riot Games released snippets and a Community Event Supercut so that fans can relive the excitement, thrills, and best moments from the Harbor community event in Mumbai. Following this, the publisher released the behind-the-scenes (BTS) making of Ankit Panth aka V3nom’s Harbor cosplay on its socials. Fans were also treated with more content as it introduced the community to Sunil Malhotra, the voice that powers the torrential force that is Harbor.

Apart from this, Riot Games has been treating Indian fans to a horde of official Harbor artwork, showcasing him in familiar settings: celebrating Diwali, watching cricket, and even hiking the Western Ghats and grabbing hot food from the roadside dhaba. 

It is safe to say that right from the chai and samosa chaat from the teaser to the iconic bike featured in the official trailer, Riot Games has captured the emotions of the Indian player base and impressed us all.
