Riot Games announced an initial list of events that it has confirmed for the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 OFF//SEASON, which will begin shortly after Valorant Champions 2023 and last through January 2024. The publisher noted that the OFF//SEASON is a time for teams to form, adjust and test their rosters and for tournament operators to experiment with new and unique tournament formats.

Riot Games added, "This year, we have partnered with operators around the world to organize more than 40 events spanning show matches, open qualifier events, and LANs across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas."


VCT 2023 OFF//SEASON: Third-party events in Americas, EMEA, and the Pacific

For the VCT 2023 OFF//SEASON, Riot Games has partnered with different tournament operators to conduct show matches, open qualifier events, and LANs across Americas, EMEA [Europe, Middle East & Africa] and the Pacific regions. Currently, in the first announcement, over 40 events have been announced. Fans and players can expect more announcements over the course of the next few weeks, noted Riot.

Global Head of Valorant Esports Leo Faria tweeted, "We have several updates on the 2024 season lined up for the next several weeks! The OFF//SEASON announcement went live a bit earlier than planned, but now that you’ve all seen it, I’m excited to share that we have 40+ events planned for this year! More to come."

VCT 2023 OFF//SEASON Events in APAC

Coming to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, there are more than 17 events set for the rest of the year, hosted by third-party organizers in both online and offline settings. Fans are already excited for events such as the Red Bull Home Ground and Valorant India Invitational.

Commenting on the VCT 2023 OFF//SEASON, Head of Valorant Esports APAC Jake Sin said, “We’re excited to work with Acer, Red Bull, Afreecatv, and many more partners to bring these OFF//SEASON events to APAC! We’re also cooking up a couple of other things as well. Stay tuned.
