Now that is a stunning bot.
Overwatch 2 and Porsche have struck a partnership in which new cosmetics will be released along with Season 10 which is scheduled to release on 9th April 2024.
One of the most surprising outcomes of this partnership was the launch of a real life full size D.Va Mech inspired by the latest Porsche electric car Macan and it looks absolutely stunning.
The model which is predominantly white in color takes a lot of inspiration from the car directly like its leather interiors, headlights, brake calipers, and more.
Overwatch 2 x Porsche: Electric Car Macan Inspired Real Life D.Va Mech Built in Real Life
Porsche released the second generation all-electric Macan on 25th January 2024, Thursday selling it alongside the original variant. To celebrate this milestone, the German automobile manufacturer that specializes in high performance sports car, SUV, and sedan has struck a deal with Overwatch 2.
As a result of this partnership, new themed skins will be released in Overwatch 2 along with Season 10, one of them being Overwatch 2 x Porsche D.Va Skin, a glimpse of which had been revealed during Porsche Full Service at SXSW 2024, Austin, Texas.
Going the extra mile, game developers of Overwatch 2 and designers of Porsche worked in tandem to create a full size D.Va Mech inspired by the new electric Macan.
The full size model was created using themes directly from the car in a white color accent and looked something straight from the future, complete with Porsche's luxurious leather interiors and other parts like the iconic yellow brake calipers, reflective lights, and suspension coil system.
It was a non working D.Va Mech but Porsche had still incorporated some mechanical functions in the form of light systems which covered the entire unit.
The community was ecstatic to witness the collaboration between the two going beyond just the game. Multiple skins under this partnership might make their way in Overwatch 2 in Season 10, details about this have still not been revealed yet.
D.Va for sure will be getting a skin which will look like the model that was on display at the SXSW 2024 and players who main the tech based tank are excited to get their hands on the skin.
This is the second exciting collaboration for Overwatch 2 within a week having just announced their partnership with popular anime series Cowboy Bebop which goes live on 12th March 2024, Tuesday.
Five new themed skins will be released along with it that players will be able to purchase, one of them will be available for free as part of an event upon completing certain tasks.
