Orangutan disbands entire Valorant team consisting of five players and an analyst.
Orangutan was the most dominant Valorant team in South Asia throughout the competitive season.
All players responded with positive comments and statements following their departure from the organization.

Orangutan has bid farewell to its Valorant roster which consisted of Sabyasachi "Antidote" Bose, Azis "azys" Nandang, Rafi "frostmind" Diandra, Prabhdeep "Ghost" Bhatia, Akram "Rawfiul" Virani, and Felipe "skyeSG" Lim.

The organization made the official announcement earlier today on 9th December by sharing an emotional post accompanied by a video across its social media pages.

Orangutan wished all their members the best for their future endeavors while highlighting that their commitment, enthusiasm, and hard work on the server, will never be forgotten.

Orangutan Disbands Entire Valorant Lineup

With the current season coming to an end and before the start of VCT 2024, a tough decision has been taken by Orangutan as it disbands the entire Valorant lineup, which was the most dominant team in the country this year.

Most members of this team were part of Orangutan's success throughout 2023 during which they won some of the biggest regional Valorant tournaments like Valorant Challengers 2023: South Asia Split 1, Valorant Challengers 2023: South Asia Split 2, EMG Pro Series: South Asia, TEC Challenger Series 10, and Predator League 2024: India.

The coach and analyst from Singapore, skyeSG, was the longest-serving member of the disbanded lineup, initially joining Orangutan in July 2022. There were several breaks during his time with the organization but overall he served under its banner for about 15 months.

Next comes the experienced trio of Antidote, Rawfiul, and azys. All three joined Orangutan in January 2023 and have been the core of this side through the entire season. They were brilliant during their 11-month stint with the organization.

The most recent players to join Orangutan were Ghost and frostmind, the former could not contribute much but the latter adjusted well and helped the team maintain its grasp on the throne within South Asia.

All the players had something nice to say about their time with Orangutan and it resulted in a really wholesome moment for the Indian community to witness.

The overseas trio of azys, skyeSG, and frostmind paid their respects to Orangutan by thanking them for everything, with skyeSG further stating "Thank you for the past one year of my career. it was an honor representing you guys. Hospitality I received from the staff, Yash Bhanushali and Jai Shah, was amazing and I appreciate it so much."

Antidote also thanked Orangutan for everything and mentioned that he had a wonderful experience with the organization. Not only that, he also apologized for the '0-4' performance that had transpired during VCT 2023: Ascension Pacific, resulting in the team getting knocked out in the group stage itself.

With this move, Orangutan currently doe not have an active Valorant lineup and seems to have completed its journey for the 2023 season. It will be interesting to see if they return with a new roster for the next competitive season.

As for the players, nothing has been stated publicly yet about their future and only time will tell on which team we might see them compete next.
