Orangutan has entered an exclusive and strategic partnership with PUMA India as its official kit partner.
The two brands have come together sharing a similar ideology which is to propel esports to greater heights in India.
All esports players under Orangutan will now wear official PUMA jerseys and other merchandise created exclusively for them.

One of the top Indian esports organizations, Orangutan Esports has entered an exclusive partnership with PUMA India, the third-largest sportswear manufacturer in the world, as its official kit partner.

Under the terms of this association, all esports athletes that are a part of Orangutan will wear the official jersey and other merchandise created exclusively for them by PUMA.

With this partnership, PUMA also expands its presence in Indian esports and has released a digital film in collaboration with Orangutan called #AlsoAnAthlete to create awareness around competitive gaming.

Orangutan has announced a strategic collaboration with PUMA India and the two brands share a similar ideology to propel esports to greater heights. This partnership will also elevate the experience of Orangutan's esports players and fans with official merchandise while representing PUMA in the growing esports community of India.

Commenting on the occasion, Jai Shah, Co-Founder of Orangutan Esports said, "Our association with PUMA India is a step in the right direction. Through this partnership, we aim to bring about a revolution in esports culture in the country where official merchandise and esports teams go hand-in-hand. Together, Orangutan and PUMA will work closely this year to achieve scale and success in the esports industry.”

To mark the launch of this partnership, Orangutan has released a digital film on social media along with PUMA India, the tagline reading "In the world of sports, we are not just considered as gamers - we are #AlsoAnAthlete"

This is also not the first time that PUMA India has partnered with an Indian esports organization having previously been the official team kit partner for Revenant Esports, which also marked PUMA's official entry into the Indian esports industry.

PUMA might have only entered its second partnership within Indian esports but speaking internationally the sportswear and athleisure company has collaborated with several international organizations like Gen.G Esports, Cloud9, NAVI, EVOS Esports, and more.
