Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom will be joining the Team Liquid Valorant roster at the EMEA Last Chance Playoffs.
Nivera will be replacing James “Kryptix” Affleck who took a break from the active roster due to personal issues.
Nivera is switching from CS:GO to Valorant and will be joining his brother Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom at TL.

Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom's brother, Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom, is switching to Valorant after years of competing in Counter: Strike. The player will be joining ScreaM in the Team Liquid Valorant roster and will be replacing James “Kryptix” Affleck. Team Liquid is still in contention to qualify for the Valorant Champions and it will be competing in the upcoming EMEA Last Chance Qualifiers which commences on 10th October.

Kryptix left the team's active roster yesterday and Team Liquid stated that the player “will be temporarily stepping away from the team to deal with some personal issues. We support James in his decision, and hope to see him back soon.” It remains to be seen if Nivera becomes a permanent part of the roster and if Cryptix returns to the competitive Valorant.

Nivera will be replacing Kryptix at the EMEA Last Chance Qualifiers

Team Liquid has two weeks to prepare itself for the EMEA Last Chance Qualifiers. The arrival of Nivera might help push things in TL’s favour. While the team has performed well in qualifiers and Challengers events throughout the Valorant Champions Tour, the team has failed consistently qualify for Masters events.

Liquid failed to qualify during the Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs due to a loss against Gambit Esports, the team that went on to become the Stage 3 Champions and is looking as one of the strongest contenders to winning Champions. The team secured a spot at Stage 2 Masters, where it lost to Fnatic and failed to qualify for the grand finals. However, the team has enough VCT circuit points to stay in contention for Valorant Champions.

With the addition of Nivera to the roster, this is what the current Team Liquid roster looks like:

  • Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom

  • Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom

  • Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen

  • Travis “L1NK” Mendoza

  • Dom “soulcas” Sulcas

  • James “Kryptix” Affleck (Inactive)

Team Liquid has 300 VCT Circuit Points and it will have to secure top spot at the EMEA Last Chance Qualifiers. The event will kick off on 10th October which is where Nivera will debut with his brother for the first time in Valorant.
