The competition between NAOS Esports and Oasis Gaming has been tight since the VCL 2023 Philippines Split 1. They registered an identical score of 6-1 during the regular season and proceeded to reach the grand final through the playoffs.

Similar to this time, Oasis had started the proceedings by winning the first game but NAOS came back strong and won the next three in succession, registering a 3-1 victory and denying any opportunity for the series to go down to a decider.

Even in the VCL 2023 Philippines Split 2, NAOS and Oasis were both indomitable, the former registered a flawless 7-0 score while the latter trailed right behind with a 6-1 score during the regular season.

They fought through the playoffs to meet each other in the grand final yet again, Oasis looking to change the script while NAOS hoped for a repeat outcome. This time the series did go down to the final map but the winner remained the same, NAOS Esports holding tight onto its throne.
