Multiversus Releases Gameplay Trailer and Commences Closed Alpha Signups

Multiversus is set to challenge Super Smash Bros with a massive cast of characters from popular games, TV shows and movies.
The game will release sometime in 2022 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Warner Bros will also be adding original characters designed specifically for the game.

Multiversus is a brand new fighting game featuring some of the most popular characters from TV shows, comics, and movies. The new game by Warner Bros is already being hyped up as an esports title with a $100,000 USD event being organized at this year’s Evolution Championship Series (EVO 2022) which is the biggest fighting game event each year featuring multiple titles like Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Super Smash Bros and more. Multiversus will be completely free and it will release sometime in 2022.

Multiversus alpha registrations are now live

If you want to be among the first to sign up for early access to the game, you can sign up for the closed alpha which will be available on all platforms starting 19th May.

  2. Press the Closed Alpha Sign Up button

  3. Create a Warner Bros Games Account if you don’t already have one

  4. You should automatically get signed up for the Alpha once you are signed in

Do note that signing up for the alpha does not mean that you will get access to the game. The alpha is set to kick off on 19th May 2022 and you will be notified via email if you receive access. Warner Bros will be sending out codes. The Closed Alpha will end on 27th May 2022.
