It is well-known how seriously Riot Games takes cheating or the use of any suspicious software that might influence the gameplay on Valorant. Yesterday on 25th January, one of the most popular Indian gaming personalities, Naman "Mortal" Mathur, witnessed this firsthand as his Valorant account was handed a permanent ban.
During a recent livestream session, Mortal spoke about the incident alleging that his account was hacked by someone who had played a game very early in the morning, around 7:00 AM, and that person was reportedly responsible for his account getting suspended by Riot.
Since finding out that his Valorant account can no longer be used, Mortal has put in an appeal from his side requesting the developers to look into the matter and remove the permanent suspension imposed against it.

Somedays are just unexpectedly dull and disappointing, even if we have done everything right, it turned to be exactly one of those days for Mortal who was surprised to find out that his Valorant account had been banned by Riot Games.
Talking about this issue, Mortal even opened Valorant on his livestream to show a notice titled 'Permanent Suspension' pop up which outlined that due to the use of prohibited third-party software, the user would be unable to access the game.
Upon being asked if someone else uses his Valorant account, Mortal reveals that one of his moderators does have access, but he is not sure if that person played any games since he last used the account.
Professional BGMI player and content creator, Yash "Viper" Soni, quickly searched for Mortal's Valorant account in his friend list to take a look at his 'Played Games' history and found out that someone else had allegedly played a game from his account, along with random teammates.
Mortal stated that this could not have been done by his moderator and that he has full trust in him. Whatever the case, everything seems to point towards this one single game.
The streamer has appealed this decision from his end but there is no development on the case at the time of writing this article. Only time will tell if the decision is reversed or does it stay put, forcing Mortal to create a new Valorant account.
