MortaL stated that it is not appropriate to use the term "collab" when referring to collaborating with high-profile Bollywood stars and foreign YouTubers, such as iShowSpeed, because it would be too costly for the organization.
MortaL explained that collaboration involves mutually beneficial partnerships and that Bollywood stars do not often collaborate.
MortaL stated that on YouTube, collaboration is more likely to happen when both parties have a similar number of subscribers and that collaboration can be different when two people are friends.

In a recent livestream, S8UL Esports co-owner and popular content creator Naman "MortaL" Mathur explained why the organization has not collaborated with Bollywood stars and popular international YouTubers. He explained that for collaboration to happen, two entities must work together for mutual benefit. He also stated that Bollywood stars do not often collaborate and on YouTube, collaboration only happens when both parties have a similar number of subscribers. He added that collaboration is different when two people are friends.

MortaL's take on YouTube Collaboration: It's all about the Subscribers

During a recent livestream, a viewer suggested that S8UL Esports collaborate with Bollywood stars and foreign YouTubers, such as Darren Watkins Jr. a.k.a. iShowSpeed, to boost the organization. In response, MortaL argued that it would not be appropriate to use the term "collab" when referring to these high-profile artists, as it would be too costly for the organization. He explained that true collaboration involves mutually beneficial partnerships, and that it would not be possible for S8UL Esports to work with these artists without spending a significant amount of money.

MortaL explained,. "If we work with some Bollywood star, that Bollywood star won't get any benefit from us. If a Bollywood star wants to benefit from us, they will have to pay us. Or else if we want benefits, we will have to pay them. That's how it works," he added. Following this, MortaL stated that Bollywood stars do not collaborate often.

MortaL explained that when it comes to collaborating with foreign YouTubers, the number of subscribers each creator has is important. ”If I have 7 Million subscribers, then YouTubers with Million or 5 Million will collaborate with me because it is an equal benefit for both. If they are benefitting from my 7 Million subscribers, and I am benefitting from their 5 Million subscribers, then only we will collaborate." MortaL said that collaboration works the same way for all other creators as well, but it is a different thing when you are friends with the other artist.

MortaL has collaborated with numerous artists throughout his career. Recently, a few S8UL Esports' content creators, including MortaL, made content with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar to promote a new mobile game based on his movie named Ram Setu.
