Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one of the biggest game releases of this year and if you have not tried out the game yet, you might be able to give it a try for free later this year. According to industry insider Tom Henderson, a free weekend will be available starting on 15th December and players will be able to try all of the game modes until 19th December.

How to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s free weekend content 

If the rumors about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are true, an official announcement will be made very soon. You can keep an eye out on Call of Duty’s Twitter handle to know when a free weekend is coming. Call of Duty hosts its free weekends during the holiday season and this year should be no different. 

The game is available on  PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S. You should be able to run the game if you own any of the consoles. The game is available on PC via Battle.net and Steam. Here are the system requirements for the game:

Modern Warfare 2 is also hosting a CODBall event to celebrate the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Players can check out the game mode and also purchase collaborative skins that feature some of the biggest soccer stars in the world including Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.
