Neymar, Messi and Pogba are expected to arrive in Call of Duty sometime around the FIFA World Cup.
A total of 10 operators have been leaked recently and they should show up sometime after Modern Warfare 2's launch.
Players should take all leaks with a grain of salt as there is no official confirmation from Activision just yet.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leaks have not stopped popping up. We started getting a sneak peek into the content coming to the game long before the game was even announced and one of the biggest news that just dropped is that soccer (association football) stars Lionel Messi and Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior are coming to the game as Operators. With an estimated 3.5 billion fans, soccer has the biggest fanbase in the sporting world and this is a great marketing move by Call of Duty.

10 Operators have been leaked ahead of Modern Warfare 2’s launch

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is launching on 28th October globally and 10 operators have already been leaked ahead of the game’s launch. Along with Messi and Neymar, Paul Pogba is also expected to arrive with his soccer buddies in the game.

We will also get Roze, Reyes, Aksel, and other operators in the game sometime after launch. There is no official word on when these operators will be available but the leaks were shared by TheGhostofHope who is one of the most reliable leakers in the Call of Duty community.

Despite the leaker’s solid track record, fans should not treat any leaks as gospel, and planned content updates may be altered at any moment so you should temper your expectations. With the FIFA World Cup 2022 expected to kick off on 16th November, we can expect the soccer stars to arrive sometime around the event.

It is most likely going to be Messi’s last World Cup and billions of soccer fans are excited about the event. Messi has already cemented his place as one of the legends in the soccer world with four Champions League trophies, 10 La Liga trophies, 3 Club World Cups, and countless other accolades.

Becoming an Operator in Call of Duty might come nowhere close to his other accomplishments but it is definitely something Modern Warfare 2 fans will be excited about, that is assuming the leaks are true.
