Respawn Entertainment revealed the much-awaited heirloom for Loba on 15th September. Loba will be the latest Apex Legends character to get an Heirloom and this will be released in the Season 14 Beast of Prey event. Just like the leaks guessed, Loba is receiving a war fan named Garra de Alanza.
Heirlooms are the most sought-after cosmetics in Apex Legends and are legend-specific melee items that players can buy by spending Heirloom Shards obtained from Apex Packs. Loba mains have been asking for her Heirloom for a very long time and Respawn Entertainment has finally paid heed to them by revealing the Garra de Alanza.
Loba gets her Heirloom in Season 14
On 30th August, Respawn Entertainment posted a comic and hinted at Loba’s Heirloom and the Garra de Alanza is finally making its way to Apex Legends with the introduction of the Beast of Prey event in Season 14. Garra de Alanza is Portuguese for Alanza’s Claw. The war fan has sharp blades and it originally belonged to Loba’s mother.
How to get Loba’s Garra de Alanza in Apex Legends?
If you have been wanting to unlock the new Loba Heirloom aka Garra de Alanza you can do it in two ways. The first way is to finish the collection in the upcoming Beast of Prey event by unlocking all the cosmetic items featured in it. Most players consider this method to be expensive since it requires one to purchase all the items in the collection. Players can unlock the cosmetics either via paid bundles or crafting materials.
The second way is to wait for the Heirloom to go to the Mythic Shop and buy it with 150 Heirloom shards once the collection event has concluded.
If you do not already have the Heirloom shards, you have to wait and collect them by leveling up in the game. They are guaranteed to drop after 500 Apex Packs which can be achieved only by fully tanking up in the new Apex Legends progression system. However, if you do have 150 shards sitting in your inventory, you can unlock the Garra de Alanza immediately.
Apex Legends Beast of Prey event
Beast of Prey is all set to begin on 20th September and Respawn Entertainment has not mentioned a specific start time for the event. However, in line with the other event start times, players can expect Beast of Prey to go live around 12pm CT.
The event will be around for two weeks and conclude on 4th October. It comes along with a brand-new limited-time mode called Gun Run, where there is a set rotation of weapons that you need to cycle through by getting kills, and whoever gets a kill with all the weapons first wins the game.
